Iji - Tor (YM2151+SegaPCM) [FINISHED]

This track is a captivating techno track that combines eastern sounds with modern techno elements. The track starts with a powerful kick drum and a deep bassline that immediately create a driving energy. As the track progresses, hypnotic synthesizer melodies and rhythmic percussions are added, continuously increasing the tension. Characteristic oriental melodies and instrumental sounds give the track a unique atmosphere that is both exotic and futuristic. The skillful use of effects such as delay and reverb creates a deep and spatial soundscape that takes the listener on an incomparable musical journey.

A cover of Buoy Base Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy. This cover was finished back in June, but Cohones' debut album was pushed back to accommodate for other members. This version is different from the one that appears on the album: this version was rendered to fit my channel's standards regarding loop counts, whilst the album version (and the rest of the album, no less) was mixed by amphobius.

A Battle Of Decidedly Unfair Difficulty

Another HardSpeed song here! This is the battle theme for the Tsu'ghui, a mysterious race of killer clones. It seems like they're being controlled by someone.
The beginning of HardSpeed's narrative follows a squad of Tsu'ghui on a routine mission that turns out to be anything but. I wanted their battle theme to differ heavily from the normal battle theme.

This one has to do with more thoughtful, pensive moments for the characters -- specifically Capel, the main character. Capel barely even understands how people work, and yet she desperately wants to live among them. Every step forward is two steps back. Sometimes, she isn't even sure it's worth it to keep trying.

Mostly done using the Korg Wavestation. I started out trying to decipher the patterns one of the presets had, and ended up reproducing the sounds manually instead. From there, the rest of the song formed. :V

Steady Lights

This will be the first track on my upcoming album, HardSpeed. It serves as the opening text crawl more or less. It has a little more orchestral flair than most of the other HardSpeed music. Part of this is due to the main character of this album, Sydney, being a cello player. (Don't worry, Capel still appears.)
I've been working on something big-ish behind the scenes related to HardSpeed as a whole, and this song was definitely a good step in getting it started. For now, expect a new album out sometime this summer!
