Heh, I'm glad your doing these. This will definitely help increase your skillz in FM production. It's really quite an art. I really like this tune with square lead and bassline. It's getting more authentic sounding.

I like the stereo with the square waves. On a real Genesis, there is no stereo for the PSG. HOWEVER, you can make square waves with 2 FM channels, and use that as echo stereo accompaniment for the PSG. It would pretty much sound like your song here. My favorite thing is to actually use PSG to add texture to FM sounds. Sonic games did this like all the time. :)

Heard this on the Random Chiptune Radio on youtube and really felt it with my vibes at the time, it's a really good song in general too

As practice, I did Verse's theme from ECO in a 16 bit style... It's kind of derpy and wonky in spots (like that one spot that starts at 0'00 and goes to 3'30. That part is really messy,) but it was fun to do, especially after doing 'The Girl I loved' in similar fashion.  This was a 'warmup' like many recent submissions.
