I like how your square arps are out of key with the rest of the song. It gives this dissonant sense of danger and tension looming in the air. Please remind me, do I snip the red or blue wire first? 

As much as I do like this tune, I feel it's a bit too slow for a midboss theme, unfortunately.

Instead of a mid-boss stage, I kinda see Shang Tu police from Jade Creek... And Neera Li. I know that's not what its for, but it's just me. Amazing work though on this and the remix of it. XD
