Okay, me know me not s'possed to be exploring but I am and as I was on the character page trying to learn more about the characters, I've seen Verse's parents. I'm not spoiling anything just in case someone else reads this but... It all makes sense now... I have a theory, but I think it's a stretch. Well 2. One about that statue in the temple and why Verse can never see the face and another about his mother. ;-; Me getting teary eyed thinking about this. I can't wait till season 2!!!!
