I started this on the 31st of May 2023, way before we even had the thought or incentive to work on Operation X.M.A.S., and never really finished it. Whatever was finished got ported and was finished independently, and this was left as is until today.

To honour what the final song ended up being, I finished it up in the same manner, using the same melodies and concepts from the 8-bit version. I'll be honest, it turned out great.

One of two takes on Elza's theme I'm planning to have on my next album. This one is based off of the initial MIDI done back in 2020 or 2021. I liked the original, but it didn't quite hit that exact sound or vibe I was going for. It's hard to describe, but I feel I've nailed it now.

Supposedly, the path to the island rests in the Eastern Ocean, the team’s next destination. After arriving at the sea, the sky becomes reflected with the waters… Suddenly Toho and Otoh are deep below the ocean's surface, looking up at the glassy reflection of the water itself! They press onwards, deep into the azure fog ahead…
