A bit of...christmas feeling? (Probably because i'm listening it on christmas XDD) This sounds like a theme for a lighthearted dungeon that comes right after a tragic event...like that Forest leading to Nanan Village in Grandia II, you know? :P In fact...the events revolving around these themes really reminded me of Ryudo in Garlan Village, especially the part of Verse not feeling welcome in her hometown, although having sweet memories of it.

One of the standard boss battle themes from my personal project, Elancia Chronicles.

I try really hard to keep the soundtrack incredibly diverse, so that each song means something, and they all have their own unique ideas, and sounds. This song is probably one of the more drastic examples of that. >~>;  It's fun to try all sorts of things! ...I' went for a classic JRPG type of sound with this one!

Regular Boss Fight #3 - "Classic"

Some scenes portray examples of kindness and compassion, while others show fear and cruelty. In some cases, Static is the receiver and in others the giver. However, while watching the events unfold, he feels all of it. He can feel the emotions of everyone in each scene, not just his own. He experiences the scene from the view of others present as well. (maybe this can be shown by changing perspective). 

The last image we see is of his parents, illuminated in love. When they disappear, we see a light in the distance, rapidly approaching. It soon overtakes the scene. Everything is light. Then we are met with a massive blue laughing Buddha. The Buddha reaches out his hand. He touches Static’s forehead and the scene cuts to black.
