Had this sitting around on my harddrive since the early days of the pandemic. It cleaned up pretty good!

Beach City

The more heroic take of "Stray Dog" that just missed the cut for my last HardSpeed Album. Both arrangements will appear on the next album (whenever that's out. Probably 2024?)
The two songs are the theme of the character Dash, a quiet, troubled dog who is an excellent Ex-Shell pilot, and fights on the Federation side of the New Rebellion War.

Reluctant Fighter

Sunset arrange of 'Wounds' and 'Scars' from two of my earlier HardSpeed albums. Like the other sunset tunes, it's a little JRPG than 80s. It took a while to get the mixing right on this. Still not sure I'm 100% happy with it, but it's good enough!

This was the first stage theme to get completed, although it wasn't the first to get started - that honour goes to Hailing Hard, which was the first song started for the project if I recall correctly. Accomodates "Nightmare before Christmas".

Trackin' Tangle - Mega Man Y+1: Operation X.M.A.S. [2A03]

It was pretty difficult for me to go back to this track and bring it into HardSpeed, considering where I was at mentally when I wrote the original. That said, it worked out surprisingly well. I'm a tad iffy on some of the mixing, so I might wiggle the sounds around before release. We'll see.

I've felt like redoing this song for a while, but wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with it until, like, today. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but being as it's from the album for EC's second book, I s'pose I'll have a lot of time to think about if I want to change anything.
