Man, this has to be one of, if not the most epic track you made in the Starbuster OST so far. The theme just works so well for a great escape, and especially fits considering how the latter half of the stage really picks up in intensity. It just gets the adrenaline pumping, it's awesome! :D

An old, old Elancia & HardSpeed song fixed up for my next HardSpeed album. Glad I took another crack at this one, 'cause I think it sounds a lot better now.
The MIDI file dates back to the early 2000s, back when I was working with DJ Tubig/Malice X. The staccato chords that carry the intro of the song were his idea, built on top of a song I wrote when I was much younger. It really takes me back!

Big City Girl [night]

My eldest son grew up playing keyboards, to cut a long story short, I used to borrow his keyboards at times and using the auto rhythms/bass used to knock out a tune with one finger. Well, I did play guitar so I suppose I did use more fingers but always one after the other. I quite enjoyed the sessions and recorded the outcomes on reel to reel tape  or later on cassettes. I have posted a playlist/album of these disasters on Soundcloud, just for complete journaling of my musical journeys...

The recent covers I have been doing of my early songs and recordings set me thinking... I decided to see what Suno could do with these instrumentals and this is the first - and possibly the last experiment. But I was pleasantly surprised again.

EXSTATIX

Intro (ambient synth pads, slow arpeggio, sax enters with a haunting melody that grows brighter)

Verse 1 (soft vocals, electronic beat light, sax fills between lines)
Born on Earth but I breathe the sky,
Chasing stars where the echoes lie.
Every pulse, every neon flame,
The saxophone calls and it speaks my name.

Pre-Chorus (vocals + sax doubling melody)
From silence to sound, from the dust to the flame,
The starlight sings and it knows my name.

Chorus (instrumental — saxophone leads full melody with soaring electronic chords underneath)
🎷 (Saxophone takes the hook)

Verse 2 (vocals more rhythmic, sax weaves in freely)
Circuits hum but the soul breaks through,
In the neon night, every note feels true.

Through the saxophone’s cry, humanity grows.

Final Chorus (explosive — saxophone solo leading with layered synth chords and choir pads)

Outro (saxophone plays a soulful, fading riff as the synths dissolve into silence)
