A little somethin' from the 4th Elancia Chronicles album. This is the theme for one of the summoners' villages. These villages dot the frontier and are some of the only safe places for magic users to go. The villages are often small and simple, but teeming with life. People from all sorts of cultures end up together in these villages, chased out of their homes by the prevailing Elian religion...
I'm working on a lot of stuff now, and still recovering from surgery, but expect more HardSpeed, Star Buster, and other things soon!

This is another of the "battle" themes from my upcoming album Return to Aloha (one of the Capel albums, a story about a laser-staff wielding space-monster nurse.) This one covers conflicts less emotional than https://soundcloud.com/leila-wilson-woofle/clouded-moonlit-rendezvous . I guess you could call it the standard battle theme if all the Capel albums were a game's storyline.
Which is totally not something I've been poking at.

Evenhanded Rendezvouz

So I've been binging a lot of 80s anime with my sister for inspiration on Return to Aloha (my next 80s album!!) It's been working out pretty well so far.  Bubblegum Crisis/Crash/AD Police have all been pretty inspiring, as has Macross!
The result here is a fusion of the sounds from those shows, especially AD Police and Macross for this one.  Big thanks to The Ghost Mall for his informative videos on VSTs! I picked up a fresh one (KORG Polysix!) due to them. Also used this song to test out the Roland SoundcanvasVA. Enjoy!

Gem Blenders Theme (Commission)

Longtime listeners might remember this tune... Recycled it and repurposed it for HardSpeed! I'm trying to make a few of the more recent songs really combine classic RPG music with the sounds of the 80s, since that's kind of what HardSpeed is at its core.
For this song, imagine flat sands with strange glass formations and sculptures, stretching and twisting colorfully up into the sky. Add some light filtering through that colorful glass and you're on the right track.

Working my way through the third Elancia book and novel, I realized I needed to take another look at Verse's theme (both the skirmish and cute arrangements!) due to how much her character has evolved by this point. This theme is more fitting of Verse when she finally begins to "bloom." She's been a little flowerbud for the first two books, but it's time to spread her little flowery foxy wings.
