This set played live by Merlinmusicc at Liwan featuring a list of tracks produced by the greatest artists around the globe , playing it with a style closing it with a track that inspired a lot of youth to go stronger and bigger and look forward. with this set i saw  a piece of light that brought me back to life . After 22 years of playing in this same space, here is another fantastic morning at the "bunker" B018 Beirut or otherwise known since 1998 as the "tombstone" where we always love dancing until wayyyyyyy past sunrise!

Other places/clubs may come and go, but this Beiruty location has a certain unexplained magic to it!

"Avenir" means horizon, future, perspective in French, most tracks have a hidden meaning on different languages.

The album combines hypnotic grooves and colourful sounds, with tracks like "Nijko" which would fit in mixes of a number of techno and house DJs, as well as cinematic electronic tracks.

Album includes ten original tracks and an additional volume, including Remixes by Danito & Athina ￼🇩🇪, THe WHite SHadow￼🇫🇷 , Remcord ￼🇫🇷 and Mexican duo UV (Vazik & ODISEO) ￼🇲🇽

Release is coming out on April 28th 2017 on 8day!

Steyoyoke’s Family Affair series returns to mark its 8th edition to date. The second half of this double release features remixes by Steyoyoke core producers Nick Devon, Simon Sizer and Arude.

Nick Devon introduces his usual well-defined pace to JOBE’s ‘Dystopia’, but diversifies in percussion elements. Great evolution as well.

Simon Sizer comes in remixing ‘Indra’ from family chief Soul Button delivering a sinister soundscape full of echoing sharp elements, making the ambience apparent and notably dark. 

Finally Simon gets a treatment on his own ‘Aconit’ by Ukranian talent ‘Arude’ which crafts a proper Techno groove as he reinforces the track’s commitment to murkiness. 
That’s what Family Affair is all about. Artists lend their techniques and unique views to other highly skilled producers and their pieces, providing beautiful alternative versions of the tracks we already love.
