For about 4 years I asked Rawtekk if I could do a remix of my favortie song "To Be A Space monkey", and to my surprise they were happy to send me the multi tracks.

After a quick start I had to move my studio to another location, which created a considerable delay and left the production in limbo. As soon as I had the new studio back up and running, I continued my work, but kind of put myself in a corner with a lot of tempo changes and too much effects. 

I sent Rawtekk the result, but wasn't happy myself, and decided I would put the track on the shelve for a while to gain some perspective. Now, two years later, and a lofty 4 years after receiving the multi tracks, the remix is finally ready!

As both gentlemen prepare themselves to once again face the harsh reality and the numbing stupidity of everyday life, one league of the journey remains. The flight home offers a chance to reflect on all things beautiful as well as all things ugly, without judgment. Almost strictly by the essence of its purpose, it purports new mental paths towards the future. While enjoying the astonishing view combined with the pleasant neurological effects of low cabin pressure and gravity, a final memory will be put into place which will act as a new foundation for thoughts and emotions yet to be experienced.
