With more than fifteen years of band history, the trio of Stoff, Paul Raal and Boogaloo Steve are as proud as punch to announce their debut album: Chromium Dioxide. For their twelve tracks the triumvirate have pooled their enthusiasm and experience, calling on a string of friends to give their selection a unique energy and emotion. Jon Jon, aka John Foster, of Bronski Beat fame, offers his vocals for the rollercoaster ride of “Europa Supersaw.” Nicole Jaey’s mellifluous voice soars in the blazing “Chevrolée,” Christina Mirabilis lends her sweet lyrics for the fiery “Girotti” with Jimmy Baker voicing the pop heartbreak of “White Tail.” Synthlines sparkle across the collection, magical melodies pirouetting in a haze of deep Summer sun. Coursing through the entire album is passion, a passion crystallised in addictive hooks, laserdance rhythms and fledgling romance, a passion that combines Hi-NRG intensity with the reflection of wave and the optimism of italo. Inspired by the 1980s, simply inspirational today.'

Nianova and Danny Domingo are colorful, loud and spacy. With their fancy outfits they look like they are from the future, but they leased the 80‘s and 90‘s for their style. Since 2018 they oscillate between Neo Italo Disco, Indie Dance & Dark Disco and combine retro with a modern twist. Their energizing sound is rolling basslines focused, with a love for shrill synths and lead them to many festivals like Fusion, Wilde Möhre, Burning Beach and Pavoia as well as renowned clubs such as Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, KitKat, Pudel, Übel & Gefährlich and Odonien. While their productions were released by labels like Bordello a Parigi, Verflixt Music and Melopee Records, they expanded their repertoire in this year with a Hybrid DJ set with the use of a vocoder, vocals and drum pad.

For their new Edit they have chosen one of their favorite 80s Hits by the German group Silent Circle. It was released as a single from Lost In Your Light on the B side in December 1985 of the year. The track quickly became a hit and reached number 15 in Germany. The composition graced the debut studio album „No. one", and over time became the main calling card of the group. Many listeners today remember Silent Circle precisely from the hit "Touch In The Night".

Bordello A Parigi’s own Furór Exotica are drafted in to help with the Dee D. Jackson inspired “Automaton Lover.” Disco infused and bombastic, this powerful piece employs bold synthlines and breathy vocals to devastating effect. The title work follows. An addictive melody is cut by a crisp beat in this bright and inviting instrumental. Thick basslines and a mirrorball groove introduce Spectral Fantasy. Featuring the smoky lyrics of Vongold, a tale of unexpected encounters and possibilities unfurl amidst warbling analogue strings. Slung back basslines and a low throb are central in “Light Years”, a smooth longue affair to finish this diverse 12”.

The bosses Endrik Schroeder and Back From The Wave join forces and mix their inspirations into this powerful, strong… raw release. 
Straight out of the 90’s, the both original tracks seem to synthetize all that was best in the 90’s techno. 

The track “Raw” develops an uncompromising techno, highly inspired by rave. 
A deep vitalizing track, dark and rock, which will make the crowds screaming. 

“Acid Control” is the very quintessence of acid techno. 
A hypnotic and energic rise to power until a mental, cerebral break. 
Then, the track flies away with an even more brutal dynamism. 
Enjoyable! 

After the success of their track “Amour Éphémère”, the Franco-Brazilian duet “Nouveau Futur” is back on the imprint. 
The vocals and the colder atmosphere give to the original title “Raw” a more “body music” side which is so dear to them.

Samo Records is happy to welcome Louis de Tomaso to the label. He delivers two tracks of two different unique dimensions. “Firefly” offers an Italo bliss peak time ecstasy journey.  The second track “Nightmare” goes into more darker dystopian direction, giving that perfect push to the ultimate frenzy.

On the remix side, we have Austher, who remixes “Firefly” into a total arpeggiated Italo beast. Velvet Velour made a unique version of “Nightmare” by adding her vocals and giving the song a more dark rolling ambience.

“Firefly” is out everywhere on October 6th, 2023.
