We are proud and happy to present the first release by our Cologne buddy ZIGGY KINDER. Since many years Ziggy is a close friend and has impressed with his work on labels like WARE and TIEFSCHWARZ’ imprint SOUVENIR. "FAVELA" is the generally used term for a shanty town in Brasil. Ziggy has recorded the vocals originally with Aline de Magalhaes during his Brasil-trip. This house-tune has been tested succesfully on the dancefloor and comes with great remixes by Soukie & Windish from Hamburg. The digital release also includes a remix by Deep Data mastermind René Breitbarth from Berlin.

The "Pantsula"-EP is the first release of "Katermukke" boss DIRTY DOERING on WHATIPLAY, which is inspired by his trips to South Africa. Pantsula names the casual, but very energetic and partially acrobatic dance of the South African, Afro-American population. The positive vibes of the Pantsuladance are not solely perceptible in the original mix, but also in the wonderful remixes of LADY M and SASCHA BRAEMER.

For some time now the Bar25 label has wanted to put out a release with all of our Swiss musician friends - the many folks who came to the Swiss Weekends at the Bar and generally made a habit of visiting us in Berlin. The Bar always had a deep Swiss connection, manifested not least in the legendary Swiss Cabin, home away from home to larger groups of visiting friends and Monday evening after-hour hotspot. "Alpenglühen - Feines aus der Schweiz" (Alp Glow - Swiss Bliss) is a swanky double vinyl of high-quality production art made in Switzerland. On vinyl 1, Animal Trainer from Hive Audio share a side with Andri, the Zurich native who is famous for his energetic live set's. Techno gladiator Wandler and live artist Canson play the other side, while vinyl 2 lets two matadors from the new Zurich club Frieda's Büxe - Don Ramon and San Marco - steer for a while. And the two music geniuses from Galoppierende Zuversicht are also here, fittingly, using sounds recorded live at Frieda's Büxe for their track. The sampler concludes with the exceptionally talented Mastra, who contributed a special song to this Swiss musical collage. The digital release also comes with a bonus live track by sublime stage band Rizzoknor. Even the cover was designed in Switzerland, during a Bar25 night at the legendary Cabaret in Zurich. We're all excited about this release since it's a special one for the 25 label. Marked both by good old times and new horizons, this record is a musical compilation representing the very special kind of artist that will always be welcome in wild Berlin!

Years of experience and a fine music taste made Leix successful and highly respected within the music scene. This Spanish artist living in Berlin embeds into his productions an absolute love for the underground sounds which he perfectly blends into styles such as techno or house. A very personal signature that identifies and makes his works to stand out for nothing but music excellence. 

Labels like Dissonant, Inmotion, Novo Music or Little Helpers to name a few have launched several Leix's productions. Releases like "Mr Slade" or "Akane" have been recently seen among others within the top sellers rankings both on Digital and Vinyl formats.

After managing Novo Music for the last 6 years, Leix starts now his own personal project called Lowertones. The essence of this artist condensed into a Label and a Mixing & Mastering Studio.

We have seen Leix performing in some of the best clubs all over Europe. Festivals like Off Sonar and ADE have included Leix in some of their Showcases. Experience, technique behind the decks and his personal touch make his sets a journey through sounds and styles.
