Shankara NZ launch their return to the Shanti Planti space station to
broadcast their new release; Transmission. Radiating other-worldly
signals from the limbo of space, Transmission assumes the state of
weightlessness in the vast vacuum between worlds—severing the tether
to terrestrial boundaries.

Coded with sub-frequency and apparitions of psychedelia, Transmission
is rooted in earthly dub cadence while it’s tendrils reach towards the
borders of territories unknown. Scattered with visions of foreign
forms and taunted by memories of sapien life; Shankara NZ serves to
intoxicate the listener with the unique phenomenon of interplanetary
drifting, all while remaining stationed within Earth’s gravitational
pull. Pack your rations wisely for this journey…

Following on from last weeks 'The Unified Field' release on Dragonfly Records, we present for you 'Light of Unity' by Gabriel Le Mar. This full length album brings together some spectacular legends in our scene: Youth, Andy Falconer, Ace Ventura, Ajja, Jossie Telch, Dr. Motte & Jörn Elling Wuttke, DF Tram, DM-Theory & Groovetitan and hosts several of the same productions from the Dragonfly release, but this time 'In Dub!'

Downtempo, eclectic and early electronica grooves are the end product of this collaborative effort bringing many of the scenes finest labels and musicians together in one place to show how we are all connected and united by music. No borders, no boundaries.. remembering we are all one!

Gabriel Le Mar & Ace Ventura - Kailash (Beatless Mix)

I had the privilege of playing a set for the Wizards of Kingston Spring Campout this year - playing at 6pm, a dynamic time of transition from afternoon to evening. Soundtracking this change in atmosphere was such an enjoyable creative process for me, I wanted to capture the ecstasy of an afternoon dancefloor with some of my favourite light and groovy house tracks, before delving into dark and growly bush techno to set the DFloor pumping into the night.
