to commemorate Bass Coast weekend i went back and finessed my set from 2019, Sunday morning at Slay Bay. it's mostly exactly how i played it with a few tunes added and a couple removed, i had to keep the little treat at the end. closing out the stage that morning was a dream, playing music as the sun rose over that beautiful land and all the dancing sweeties. SMF 2018 was like a dream. This mix is not the board mix, as the unnamed sound guy pulled the plug on the mixer during my set. I feel like I speak for a lot of us when I say this past year has been challenging and full of a lot of heavy changes. As the days start to get longer I feel like the light is finally starting to come back. This mix is essentially a musical representation of a lot of emotions I’ve been feeling over the past few months. I decided to not focus on technical mixing so much with this per se but was more aiming to showcase a collection of songs new and old from over the years that have helped me process and move forward.
