Kirk was a real life badass. He died at 104, even Death was afraid of him.😱

During the late 1800s and early 1900s there was certain scarring duels that were arranged just so young men of the upper class could get gnarly scars without having to fight. They would wear protection over their eyes and neck and stab at the face. 

Tales from the Crypt redoes the execution scene. And Kirk Douglas is the General whose son was a drunk coward who gets shot thinking he will be shot with blanks to later hide.

As Senator Lane says in Outlaw Josey Wales. They were given justice. They were tried, found guilty, given a last meal and then executed.

I wasnt angry after watching it. Then again I read a ton on the incompetence and stupidity of officers in war
