Is ableism a concern at all in the production of this show, or will every less than brilliant or mentally ill character be treated as a cartoon without even basic survival instinct or any capacity for reason? Like, generally, I like the show, but..

As someone that loves TOS, the podcast made me love TOS even more. 

I think thats actually the reason in the autobiography of Jean Luc Picard. One of the times the English invaded France, they succeeded but in our timeline they didn’t (?). It’s been a minute since I’ve read it.
