This studio mix from the DIGITAL NOMADS band features brand new, unreleased tracks for this 2nd Gathering, consisting of VISSUDDA, who represents cosmic consciousness through a mix of electronic sound waves and organic percussion; EAST COAST ELECTRONICS (ECE), who began DJing during the acid house scene in '88 in the UK and later transitioned to producing genre-bending electronic sounds influenced by house, funk, reggae, and eclectic styles; and ZMAN8, a New York City music producer blending electronic music with live instrumentation, influenced by the Ozric Tentacles and the UK techno scene from 1990-1995. Digital Nomads is a psychill project blending electronica with live instrumentation, drawing from psychedelic music movements from the 1960s to the psybient sub-genres. Picture Carbon Based Life Forms meets Pink Floyd on a beach in Goa, throwing a rave with Shpongle and the Ozric Tentacles. The mix includes special guests: Ed Wynne of Ozric Tentacles collaborating with Charlie Roscoe on a remix of "Space For The Earth," featuring Jon Egan on Kaval Flute; THE EGG from Liquid Sound Design, recently dubbed 'The Grateful Dead' of electronica; The American Dollar from Queens, New York; Groovetitan and Gabriel Le Mar of Legendary Back Stage Gurus; and J.P. Illusion from Athens, Greece, known for psychedelicub, dub, psychill & world ethnic music.
