We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect sunday morning sets for quite a while already and @Mattmosphere has been a steady supplier of them for us. So we asked him and his partner Adriana to record one hour of music together, to which they like to stay in bed with.

It's an intimate ask, but they said yes and this beauty of a set is the result. 

Mattmosphere selected half the tracks and adriana aka @amapola-sounds selected the other half and sang her own beautiful lyrics ( see below), their good friend @morgen_musik recorded them and the result is something magical:

Cuddle Cast #3 - Amapola & Mattmosphere present: The Cloud Room

This album is built around the concept of doubling: every track, except for the first one, has an alternative version. The “alternative” nature of these versions is defined during the production stage and is rooted in some form of collaboration. Collaboration may involve co-producing the instrumental, co-writing the lyrics, performing together (vocals, instrumentation, or otherwise), or any other form of shared creative input.

The tracklist is arranged from my greatest involvement to my least. The first track stands alone, representing a complete alignment with myself. From there, each subsequent piece reflects varying degrees of distance — a shifting of authorship shaped by others’ presence.

This order is based on my own perception and emotional experience of participation, and it’s open to challenge. Ideally, the listener is encouraged to question my arrangement and create their own interpretation of authorship and presence within the album.

After travelling the world together many times with countless vacation soundtracks and exchanging thousands of songs throughout our friendship, this was the first time sharing the dj booth with my favorite travel companion @pacayapacaya at @klunkerkranich's Wohnzimmer. Our extended world-racoon-sloth-journey turned out to become a pretty colourful 6-hrs trip... visiting various countries, genres, decades and tempos without taking too much care about transitions, but finally playing some „dj-unfriendly“ gems ;) ... 99 songs from our hearts into your ears! Mit Mutti In Der Prärie # 8 - MAUGLI [guest mix]

@Mattmosphere and Love Foundation that is a love affair that has been going on for a while. It all started with a romantic weekend in Vienna beginning 2018, sparks were flying and a second weekend getaway was planned together. This time outside and in the slightly smaller mountains of the Netherlands, in Limburg.

After that it was clear that both parties are ready for the next step and a fusion of the @drosssel and Love Foundation family with a 48 hour rave weekend in Mensch Meier in Berlin, was the logical conclusion in summer 2019.

Now we are limited to online dating, but Matt knows how to play that game as well and the set that he recorded for us, hits us right in the heart. Be ready for an hour full of emotions and a special kind of journey that only Matt knows how to take you on. 

We love you Matt and we look already forward to the next gathering in real life together.
