Split State Of Mind

Following a two year creative hiatus and four years since the release of the critically acclaimed ‘Bright Victory’, the enigmatic Sydney quartet Cabins have returned from the wilderness, armed with an artistic affluence, afforded by time and reiterated by maturity and laconic ability.

Bressington’s mellifluous expressions, woozy pianos & sparse guitars continue to engage and entwine; snaring the listener in an insurmountable euphony of brooding, discerning romance and mercurial, lyrical dark-matter.

Couple the collective impetus of Bressington, Doran, Hinchcliffe & Brooks charging through the organised chaos of a topsy-turvy live performance bursting with involuntary limerence and it’s
inconceivable to doubt the undeniable talent the men of Cabins have been selfishly hiding since hiatus.

Impossible to over describe and once teetering on ubiquity with the Sydney Morning Herald gushing that “Cabins join Tame Impala and Cloud Control in the ‘Watch this space’ category”, Cabins have finally returned.
