The French city of Montpellier has long possessed an obsession with all things electronic music. At the forefront of this scene is Yamen & EDA.
Friends since childhood, the pair possess an almost telepathic understanding behind the decks and in the studio, a way of working that’s brought them to the attention of some of contemporary house and techno’s most renowned imprints and dancefloors.

Having officially kicked off as a duo in 2011, Yamen & EDA’s ascendency has been an impressive one. Theirs is a story however, that goes much further back. Raised on a solid musical diet of minimal house and techno, the pair’s formative years were spent on the many dancefloors of the south of France, experiences that still inspire their music to this very day.

Best friends and ardent musical lovers with a penchant for similar styles and techniques, it was only ever a matter of time before Yamen & EDA solidified their friendship through music. Quickly getting down to business in the studio, their inaugural releases hinted at great promise, eventually bringing them to the attention of One Records boss, Adam Shelton. Always keen to foster fledgling talent, Shelton has signed numerous Yamen & EDA releases to his imprint and even had the boys join him at One Records showcases in London at fabric, Sonar in Barcelona and at Below in Birmingham.

The relationship is one that’s since brought the pair to the attention of numerous other labels, with Earlydub and LAATE among those who’ve housed their talents. What’s more, their music has been played along the way by some of the scene’s foremost players, with Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Apollonia all lending their support. 

2018, however, is the year that Yamen & EDA are set to go it alone courtesy of their own Maison Mere label. A vinyl-only affair that kicked off recently courtesy of the auspicious ‘Retrospect’ EP, the label promises to promote a wide range of contrasting electronic sounds. “A platform to collect and release music without any limits”, it’s indicative of an altogether exciting new chapter in the already emphatic careers of Yamen & EDA. With further releases to come on John Dimas’ always on-point Elephant Moon label as well as a return to One Records in the works, 2018 already looks set to be a defining year for one of France’s most exciting duos.

Sakro, dj and producer of house Music, born in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He has released music for labels like Visionquest, Half Baked, Raum...Musik, La Vie En Rose, Karlovak, Housewax, Fathers and Sons Productions, Amam, Houseworx, and Bon Vivant.
Born and raised in Mexico, Sakro represents the new wave of electronic music djs and producers who are leaving their mark in the international scene.
With his House and Minimal influences, Jazz, Soul,  Hip-Hop from Detroit and Chicago, he sets his unique style in each of his productions and performances.
His productions have been released in both formats, digital and vinyl, on labels such as Raum…Musik, Half Baked, Visionquest, Pleasure Zone, Karlovak, La Vie En Rose, Politics of Dancing, Savor, Housewax, Fathers and Sons Productions, Amam, Houseworx and now Bon Vivant, his own label alongside the talented Andrade.
His compositions have been  played by respected names like Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Fumiya Tanaka, Dorian Paic, Richie Hawtin, Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson, Dyed Soundorom, D’julz to ZIP – co-founder of Perlon Recordings label – who included his production ‘Jazz in the Forest’ in his latest FABRIC 67 compilation. This has lead him to perform in important platforms such as Boiler Room in Mexico City.
 He has stood out for his productions since many years, in 2017 his EP on Raum...musik was called one of the best releases of the year according to Resident Advisor and DJ Mag.
Sakro keeps bringing his groove in every production and performance.

With several years of record releases under his belt, Gus Bonani finds himself living
an unbeatable moment in his career. Going through different aspects of the house and minimal sound, his works have seen the light of day on respected labels such as Body Parts, Musica Lunar, Zingiber, Feeder Sound and Blind Vision is also co-founder of Tangible Records label which, In little more than 12 editions, it has positioned itself as one of the most interesting projects that has recently emerged in its country. Living in his native Buenos Aires, he complements the task of producer by also being a DJ. His sessions stand out for the creation of moments and atmospheres, always placing himself in the context that the dancefloor requires.

As we're getting closer to the end of 2022, we wanted to give you some more sparks of what has been a great year full of good music all the way through. For the occasion, we have Montreal-based Paolo Rocco serving some real house flavours. Fresh from the release of "To The Stars And Beyond" EP on Chris Stussy's "Up The Stuss" label, the Canadian artist also released his "Life In Pieces" LP on FUSE back in 2021. But if we want to scroll back his catalogue, we'll find big releases on Berg Audio, Rutilance, and One Records, not to mention his anthems on Saved and Hot Creations from the early '10, making Paolo one of the most respected producers around. Ferhat, also known under his stage name F.eht is a DJ, Producer, and label owner under the name Samani. Throughout childhood, there were many sounds and elements which stuck in his mind and influenced him in many ways to become a DJ. F.eht has a big catalog of music that has received support from a lot of big names. Many projects were released by him on his label Samani, which was launched in early 2015. F.eht as an artist himself had great success in the world of the music industry, landing him gigs in Europe, Russia, and other parts of the world. In today's mix, F.eht has given us a good combination of House and Tech House with a  tiny touch of Electro and Acid.
