Timing

KaleidosKosmos is Lemon Light's second album - and just like the first one (Minor Mosaique, 2016) it celecbrates a diversity of genres, styles, stories and moods! The journey through the sound cosmos kicks in with a souly "Beautiful Morning", followed up by the more calm and slightly psychedelic arrangement of "Numbers". After having the mathematics covered, one can start to ask questions: "Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg?". Where lies the interception between art and the inner pain that precedes it?, could be one possible interpretation this rocky song's lyrics. Then comes the Lemon Lights spurprise contrast again: "Lost Mine" is our tribute to music, movies and sories from the wild west. No horses were harmed during the recording sessions (secret vegan recipe: coconut shells)!
Track no 5 is actually the oldest song that we have ever played together. It's true that when we first got together as friends and musicians, our lives have made a "Change". To calm down from the gypsy-swing-busking trip, "Papierflieger fliegen" takes you out of the window of your mind while flying on a paper plane. This is the first song in German ever to be released by Lemon Lights. 
Now, close your eyes, stretch out your arms and let wind and rain run through you, because we’re doing a „Rain Dance“! But we’re not alone here: There are others, strangers, persons as covers and eyes as their loopholes. This is when we realize: We are never alone, and everyone and everything is connected - we are „AllOne“! The next song is also a big celebration and a love letter „To Music“! Needless to say to play this one out loud, because we’re sure you will crank up that volume knob with pleasure! Finally, we reach the end of our trip at our very selves: „Irgendwie Immer“ closes the album with mindful bass and singing, with a ride on a camel, a guitar solo like a burning bush and with the opening of all doors to let the cosmos inside…
