LENKA DUSILOVÁ and BAROMANTIKA

Baromantika is an indie-pop band formed in 2010 by one of the best Czech singers Lenka Dusilová and her good friends, excellent musicians based in Prague  /Baromantika is Lenka Dusilová - lead vocal, ac.guitars, loops, Patrick Karpentski - el.guitars, bass,  Beata Hlavenková - keyboards, Viliam Béreš keyboards, Martin Novák - drums/ . The band released their eponymous debut album Baromantika in 2011 (excellent reviews, over 6000 CDs sold within Czech Rep., sold out concerts all over the country). The band released live CD/DVD "Lenka Dusilová and  BAROMANTIKA Live at Café v lese" in co-production with VICE Czech Rep. in October 2013 /the best singer of the year 2013 -Czech Music Awards/ and they are working on a new album that will be out in September 2014. Lenka herself had a long and successful career as a soloist and joined several most popular czech bands (Lucie, Čechomor), she also was awarded several times as a "singer of the year" on the Czech Music Awards Andel, last time for the album Baromantika and also the live album Live at Cafe v lese. In September 2014 Lenka and Baromantika released their 3rd album called "V hodině smrti" /In The Hour Of Death/ which has got the best reviews so far. With the band Baromantika Lenka found musicians that she wants to work with on a band level, sharing their musical experience and taste.
