Asymmetrical - Overwhelmed [Fill-Lex Records // FLR-05 / FLCS-18]

This new edition to celebrate the five years of Fill-Lex Records comes with a double edition, it will be the fifth vinyl of the label and its 18th reference on cassette. This time we have Asymmetrical (Giovanni Inglese) owner of our idolized label Raw Culture. An edition that in its vinyl format will have remixes of Sam de la Rosa and Anna Funk Damage, and for the cassette version will be added the remixes of SOJ and Lex-Or.

A concept album that does not leave behind its track-focused side. In its side A we find visceral songs, with broken rhythms, and forceful percussions, with a spectacular treatment of distorted voices, full of strength and power.

On the B side of the album we enter tracks more focused on the dance floor, with that punk attitude, which makes you immerse yourself in their decadent melodies,

These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worse daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.

All proceeds from Confused Machines' digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il, which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.

Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.

PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.

We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.

Lennard Ypma is one of those artists that is almost impossible to define. This guy has been all over the place over the last decade. From aliases such as Saurkraut, Perennial Rhythm, Bind, Cargo Cultcha and Laym he finally decided to use his birth name Lennard Ypma on stage. With him only 3 things are certain; He loves his poodle, he loves his synths and the guy plays awesome tunes! 
His live-sets with synths blow up places such as Radion, Marktkantine, Claire, Ruigoord and Der Weiße Hase (Berlin) and his dj-sets are so diverse that they are suited for locations such as BAR, de School, Breakfast Club and Skatecafe. His own alias gives a new dimension to the concept of a vinyl juggler, playing sets from reggae to worldly vibes to hard acid, being a true quality animal. He breaks down, builds up, bubbles, vibes and drums. Whatever floats your f*cking boat..
