This was my Saturday sunset set (18:00-20:00) from La Divina stage at Lusatia Festival in August.

Listening back, I think it's a nice representation of a lot of my sets this summer. Starting out in mid-tempo new wave sounds at 124bpm, moving through some dreamy progressive house and speeding up into to faster, high energy 90s house.

The final track is an air-cleanser to reset the mood before the next DJ: my favourite piece of 80s Japanese dreamy pop by Tatsuro Yamashita.

Mostly the host of Spinning Grounds, Kat Davids, chooses to invite guests but sometimes you find her warming up during the first hour - this time for @samgoku.
This mix transfers a feel of nostalgia. With a world that sometimes seems loud and chaotic, this hour is all about tracks that are seldomly in Kats' record bag for dance floor sets but rather deeper, peaceful, softer and dubby notes - from old favorites of labels like @kann or @giegling as well as some new vinyl finds. A little journey leaning back on a couch wrapped in a blanket or lying out on the grass with sun shining in your face.
'Spinning Grounds' by @katharina-davids is all about opening grounds for newcomers to spin their music - to explore genres from house, Detroit, dub techno to break beat.

Hailing from Paris with Bulgarian roots, Karassimeon is obsessed with Disco and EBM, hence his motto “Glitter & Leather”. 
He has released a string of tracks on Toulouse based label Ritmo Fatale in 2023, delivering his distinctive blend of Cold Wave, EBM and Italo. Beyond the initial support he was granted by Kendal and Pablo Bozzi, his productions are gathering growing support in the scene by the likes of Marie Davidson, Curses, David Carretta, Avalon Emerson and Jennifer Cardini. 
Relentlessly researching new soundscapes in his studio, Karassimeon will premiere his live electronic show in November 2023. 

This guest mix features his favorite new music, as well as his forthcoming remix for Paris based New Wave act Clinique Lacuna. We're thrilled to have Karassimeon on board and mix no. 28 is already on heavy rotation at the Blank Wave headquarter. I mean - just look at the playlist:

Sarmabot and Malo Sutra co-host the monthly 'Znoj FM' radio show on Radio 80000. They created the perfect mix to smooth over our January blues and ease us comfortably into 2024.

Malo Sutra, aka Kessel Vale, is the alias of Graz-based producer and DJ Dominik Lekavski. He released music on labels such as Molten Moods, Rhythm Nation, and RFR Records.

Formerly a resident DJ at MMA Munich, he now frequently playsat clubs like Blitz Club. He co-curates and organizes the "Interlude“ event series in Graz, Austria.

Sarmabot (Anja Lekavski) is sculptor, designer and DJ based in Munich. She specializes in art direction and illustrations for events and clubs, including renowned clubs like Blitz Club, and has been creating posters for IsBurning over many years. Sarmabot is known for her diverse creative pursuits and involvement in the local music scene of Munich. She co-organizes the CANCELLED party series which made a comeback in 2023 after a short pandemic-related break. Additionally, she recently collaborated on curating the latest issue of 20Seconds Magazine.

They created the perfect mix to smooth over our New Year hangover and ease us comfortably into 2024.

Woow still can't believe what happened at Orangerie on the Fete de la Musique!! 
The party was sooo full after being featured in Berliner Morgenpost and FluxFM. People were literally climbing to enter through the windows :O what an energy!! 
I sadly had to play shorter due to too many people so not enough capacity for the personnel and bar. 
Thanks to everyone for creating this madness and sorry for the one who couldn't come in!! <3
