Since 'I ❤️ 3181 Thursdays' launched under new management in July last year, it has been a pleasure watching the night grow week-by-week, while having the opportunity to play a handful of times at the beloved Revolver Upstairs since then.
I thought it was time to share my first live recording of 2023, after playing 10 - 11:30pm last Thursday evening, where I followed the dinner set from Hans DC.
The set flows between a subtle mix of genres with a deep underground essence, tantalised with a few crowd favourites.

The Do it again record takes me back to my upbringing, hearing The Chemical Brothers on repeat in the lounge room and on CD in long car drives. This also pays homage to my early influences of underground dance music, and how the city of Melbourne shaped this particular baseline!

As many revellers of the music scene retreated to the Bush for a weekend of dancing and letting go, My Aeon held its line strong with a special evening of extended sets from all performers, including headliners Anthony Pappa and Jamie Stevens. I was very grateful for this opportunity to warm up for these Australian DJ legends. As the early patrons trickled into the venue from 10 'till 12, I was able to blend between Organic, Deep and Progressive House for an evoking journey of passion and soul!

During the Isolation period, I spent weeks digging deep & compiling a personal track list of what I believe is some of the most influential & loved tracks of the clubbing scene of Melbourne from over the past 5 - 10 years.
