Your Precious Moon

I'm both extremely right-handed and non-ambidextrous. But this track was produced using my left hand only. The album art prompting was done fully left-handed. This description was written using my left hand only. Everything took 3~5 times the usual amount of time. As a result, my feed has been silent for a month, quite the gap in my usual upload frequency. 

My excuse: I brutally shattered my right hand wrist when I took flight and crashed myself onto the pavement. I have a heap of metal inside me and beautiful surgery scars now. Wasn't it @djsian who stated "Wear Your Scars Like Medals"? I choose to live by that motto.

And trotzdem everything; I am learning incredibly many left-handed things this late in life. And I have a couple of real interesting things lined up, so my feed will probably get a lot more lively real soon. Stay tuned, do.

Shattered

A modest exploration of texture and colour. This track, "Saturated," is a continuous, single-take performance, recorded entirely outside of a computer (dawless).
The core of the sound character comes from pushing the limits of the Hologram Electronics Chroma Console, letting its various forms of saturation, drive, and sonic instability define the mood. Granular clouds and moments of delicate texture are provided by the Mutable Instruments Beads.
This is simply what came out of the machines in that moment.
Gear Used:
Synths/Voices: Arturia Minibrute 2s, OP-1 Field, Arturia Microfreak (for polyphonic chords), Make Noise XPO (sub-oscillator).
Effects: Hologram Electronics Chroma Console, Mutable Instruments Beads (granular effects).
Performance Note: Recorded live in one take on a Tascam model 12

This was initially a "byproduct" of Into The Cold Light but I decided to turn it into a full mix. It's essentially a mashup of several short soundtrack snippets that play during the "We don't go to Ravenholm" level, e.g. "Requiem for Ravenholm" and "Ravenholm Reprise".  While I'm not that keen on how the guitars turned out, I'm proud of the rest of the mix. Especially the drums turned out great imo!

Esto de la Musica para mi es un pasatiempo, me gusta hacer musica, tanto como me gusta Modelar en 3D, hago miles de canciones siempre, pero voy a subir una de veces en cuando porque siempre son para practicar, o me salen todas iguales, ¿ustedes me entienden no? es algo complicado, no sabia que lo era hasta que lo empece a hacer.
