Layered throughout, the sample ‘Pressure’ teases what’s about to unfold, guiding you straight into a weighty onslaught of bassline destruction. Gwillz’ production is next level, bringing unrelenting low-end energy and razor-sharp drum work that’ll have roller heads fully locked in. But just when you think you’ve got the measure of it, halfway through, the track flips into halftime madness - an absolute switch-up, where foghorns and mutated basses take control, dragging the vibe into an old-school dubstep-infused frenzy. The track closes out in the best way possible, merging classic deep dub energy with the new-school sound of DnB rollers, leaving no doubt that Pressure is a force to be reckoned with. Pressure lands as part of the Pressure EP – don’t get caught under it.
