The last couple of days I found it difficult to find inspiration for mixes. Every time when I recorded it just didn’t work out how I wanted it. So, I decided to try something completely different. I decided to play some Deep Techno. Of course with high pace. I’ve got to say I really enjoyed this. Just trying something new. Hope you guys think the same! 😊

One of the deeper tracks I started with is ‘Retrograde Motion’ @insolate_official . Super spacy track. From this I went to a track with a bit more rhythm.  This is ‘Feedback Loops’ from @Marktyler. 🖤

To spice things up I played a remix from @cleric. It’s again a track with nice drums and an awesome vocal. It’s ‘Show me that Light’ from @kwartz . ⛓

A favorite track of mine, a track I used to play at the nights from @leipelamas is ‘Bodies of Light’ from @Redrooms . Also I discovered another old favorite, this is ‘Vanity Bites’ from @repro1305 ☠️

After 45min of deepness I was a bit done with it. As you know me, I prefer something harder. This was a nice opportunity to play a few of my newest tracks. One of these is ‘Exile’ from @thisiscaravel . The kick from this track is insane. Talking about insane tracks. I played ‘Daedalus Maze’ from @pulses , check him out, he is a good friend of mine. For the on point remix you need to be at @stranger_sounds , one of my favorite producers atm. 💣

1 track I feel to mention is ‘Riot in Versace’ from @gracedahl . Facking love the whole atmosphere and that synth is just...🔥

I had lots of fun of recording this mix. I feel that I have found my spirit again, these days I’m feeling allot better in my personal life aswell. ☺️ Further, for any track ID’s, just leave a comment. Enjoy and keep on dancing!🖤

Lenz’s productive pursuit of music began when he discovered the unique lure of the underground. Illegal raves birthed his passion for techno, which eventually led to the Dutchman swapping the dancefloor for the booth as a DJ.

Stylistically, Lenz stands at odds with the current techno trends, opting to emphasise more nuanced sounds such as hypnotic patterns and dark atmospheres, whilst maintaining an energetic, high impact sound. His brand of driving, hard hitting techno has seen him become a regular throughout the entirety of the Netherlands, carving his teeth at clubs such as Paradiso, Club Atelier & Club Basis.

His track selection maintains a strong allegiance to the classic years of techno, often delving deep into the heavier releases of the 2010s era of techno. Layering multiple layers of driving, pounding grooves is his signature, presenting a percussive overload which sucks the dancer into another dimension.

Beyond DJing, Lenz is also a co-founder of the event collective De After, which has allowed him to further present his vision of the underground, starting with a sold out affair at Club Atelier, followed up with multiple editions at Club de With & Noordwaards.
