Yes. It's the return of DJ Marky. The Brazilian magician's been in the studio, wrapped up his debut solo artist album and is set to release it just in time for those summer BBQs, parties in the park and rooftop raves. 

Although he's no stranger to an LP - don't forget he hooked up with fellow Brazilian XRS for 2004 gem 'In Rotation' - this is the first time he'll be releasing his own, with his label Innerground Records its home. What can we expect? That unmistakable drum 'n' bass funk of his and a couple of disco-dashed numbers.

Paul SG returns to Soul Deep Exclusives in grand fashion with this gorgeous 3 track EP.  The EP kicks off in stylish fashion with the track, "Ways", which features punchy drum, rolling sub bassline, chirping percussion, and an extra dose of funk.  "Rhodissimo", is up next with its jazzy rhodes stabs, Amen Drums, rolling 808 bassline, and sweet horn blasts.  "Never Care", finishes things off in smooth fashion, with its hectic breaks, soothing vocals, haunting musical pieces, and reverse fx.  Overall, Paul SG brings the jazzy funk on this EP.  Essential!!

Roughly a year after his Kodak Dreams LP Submorphics returns to The North Quarter with Newport Magnetic: a six track project that sees the Detroit native reinvent his trademark lo-fi take on Drum & Bass. While looking to the future and growing artistically on this project, Submorphics continues to drawn inspiration from hazy rare grooves, resulting in a refreshing showcase of his creative vision.

To compliment the new ethos, Newport Magnetic features some stunning vocalists in London's VEDA BLACK, Detroit rap legend (and J Dilla collaborator) Phat Kat as well as Steo and Ras Tweed. All things Submorphics are present here: meditative smoked out vibes, music with a message, melancholic chords and soulful Drum & Bass. This is Submorphics 2.0, keeping if fresh for 2021.

“After completing my highly nostalgic Kodak Dreams LP, it was time to write a new EP taking inspirations from both the present and future” Submorphics explains. “Joined by a diverse cast of global contributors documenting their current struggles and hopes for tomorrow, I set out to create a series of deeper tracks with an updated sonic palette.
