Aitor has been a fantastic supporter of our Lenz work which he frequently showcases on his Boogie Bunker Radio Station from Tenerife as well as his sensational 'Sunsets' monthly podcast show.

Aitor was born in Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, he is resident DJ at the best beach club on the Island – Le Club, with the innate ability to read any dance floor, he also spins at various night spots around Spain, as well as holding a residency at the iconic Siam Park in Tenerife, voted the best waterpark in the world.

Aitor Robles specialises in sunset vibes sets, he regularly releases ‘sunsets with Robles’ sessions on his Soundcloud page, his sessions take the listener on a musical journey from deep vocal house, right through to afro and downtempo.

With Le Club being out of season in the winter, Aitor likes to switch it up to see where the music will take him next, he goes worldwide & has been flying out to the Maldives, first for a residency at the prestigious One & Only, Reethi Rah resort. Enjoying the island life so much he then came back out to the Maldives for a season at the brand new Cafe Del Mar based on Crossroads. He was also the opening DJ for the new Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Qatar.

DJ Lemy is a highly skilled DJ / Producer / Radio Host from Buenos Aires - Argentina who has been DJ'ing since 2002.

DJ Lemy was born on April 4 1978, in the neighborhood of Boedo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, New Order, began his musical career at 11 years of age studying guitar and percussion.

﻿From his first steps as a Dj Lemy, feels respect and admiration for artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Lexicon Avenue, Martín García, Sasha,
John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Satoshi Tomiie.

His artistic development led him to make music not only as a hobby but as a "great job", devoting time and responsibility to improve their 
performance day by day.

His musical style is basically Deep House, Organic House & Progressive House.

Martin is an insider Tip and Local DJ Longplayer from Hamburg in Germany.

Martin Broszeit aka Phoenix, was born in 1972. He started spinning at the age of 17 Hip Hop and Hip House. Now the Man is into Deep & Organic House, Mellow Techno & Lounge Music.

He has been Resident DJ @ Pleasure Dome Hamburg 1995-2000, TrancePort Hamburg 1998-2001, Cosmic Club Lübeck 1996-2022, Phonodrome Hamburg 2001 -2003, Clouds Hamburg 2015-2019 and Tortue Hotel 2018-2022.

Dance Promotion Manager of Kontor Records & Universal Music from 2000-2004.
From 2019-2020 music director @ Accenta Music.

In 2001, he formed B-Sides of his Manager Job “Smart System” together with his production mate Chopstick (now a days Labelowner of Suol Music).

Nordic Voyage Recordings is an underground movement dedicated to deep melodic music and culture. They are located in the Arctic Circle, a group of DJ’s, music producers, artists and designers. They are on a voyage and each release continues to astound us with their unbelievable quality and array of talent.
 
In our opinion, it has firmly established itself as one of the leading and most respected deep, organic, melodic house labels around.

'Night Whisper' - May 2023

An old studio mix that we completed, comprising entirely of tracks and remixes by the brilliant Satin Jackets.

Formed in 2012 Satin Jackets is the brainchild of German producer Tim Bernhardt. Having enjoyed success through the late 90s and 00s producing house music under a variety of different aliases, Tim launched Satin Jackets as a vehicle to finally explore his lifelong love of disco.

Inspired by the clean productions of artists like CHIC and studio genius Trevor Horn, Tim set to reintroduce that polish and sheen back into the modern disco scene. “I had always been fascinated by how glossy people like Nile Rogers made their music,” Tim explains. “It always sounded like the musical equivalent of a fashion magazine’s cover. I’d been making more underground music for a while but really wanted to go in totally the other direction and create a really smooth, polished sound.”

Firmly established as one of Eskimo’s flagship artists Tim would define the Satin Jackets’ sound with his debut album ‘Panorama Pacifico’ in 2016. Featuring collaborations with artists including Scavenger Hunt, NTEIBINT and Marble Sounds the album won praise from the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag and Groove, led to gigs around the world and to date has been streamed on Spotify more than 30 million times.

From wanting to recreate the sound of magazine covers to appearing on them, the past few years has been quite some journey for the still enigmatic producer, but despite the ever-growing army of fans from every corner of the world Tim remains grounded. Hidden away in the unlikely surroundings of one of Germany’s ancient forests, out of sight but fully in control, Tim is producing music that reflects the glamour and glitz of 70s Manhattan, artfully updated for the 21st century.

This weeks show is an old studio Mix containing only tracks produced or remixed by the immensely gifted Brian Transeau, known by his initials as BT.

BT is an American musician, DJ, singer, songwriter, composer and audio engineer. An artist in the electronica music genre, he is credited as a pioneer of the trance and intelligent dance music styles that paved the way for EDM, and for "stretching electronic music to its technical breaking point."

His debut album 'Ima' was released on October 9, 1995 through Perfecto Records. The album was considered a major stepping stone in trance music, popularising a more progressive approach.

Between 1995 and 2000, the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman and Paul Oakenfold heavily played his tracks and they all looked upon BT as a genius and years ahead of his time.

His work in this period was distinctively different from anything else at the time and marrying progressive house and trance in a way that nobody had done before or since.

"I was honoured when I was asked to play an afternoon Beach Party set at the stunning Destino Beach Bar in Croatia, in August 2022. It was one of my highlights of 2022 when I played there on a gorgeous August afternoon last summer; the rustic style of the beach, the 'toes-in-the-sand' setting right on the beautiful sandy beach at Zambratija, the stunning backdrop of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea combined with the chilled vibe; where the perfect ingredients for a unforgettable afternoon.

I took great pleasure in playing at the venue and spent many hours trying to piece together a suitable soundtrack of the chilled, dreamy, atmospheric house sound that reflects the essence of the bar and the many beautiful knowledgeable customers who come to Destino each day to enjoy the vibes and their legendary cocktails.

Hopefully, this little Guest Mix gives everyone a suitable insight into Destino Beach Bar - but very simply if you are in Croatia, visit Zambratija and experience Destino first hand, you will not be disappointed.

We like to play with the waves especially in the summer months when it is very hot outside.
As in the last edition of our V/A "Summer Waves, Vol. 1", Artiglio!, who edited this second fantastic collection of unreleased and fine tracks, left us speechless. 16 tracks telling stories of those who fearlessly braved all kinds of waves. A succession of pulsating moments charged with adrenalin alternated with moments of apparent calm. The challenge was taken up by names already known to those familiar with our label, such as Alogique, Paul Bones, Ustrell, Fabio S, Andrea Careddu, DEE TREE-9 or Andrea Crestani, Thomas T., Anthony Spirit and encoder. Among the many new releases in 2023, we are in particular proud to announce the return of Muzarco from Israel with a truly incredible track to be discovered, the first release with us of the successful duo Lenz (DE) and the official welcome to two Swiss artists Luke Bathwine and Dee Machine's.

Their monthly ‘Night Whisper’ Podcast show combined with their new weekly 'Thru The Looking Glass' show seemed like the natural progression of what they have been doing, and thanks to the help of radio stations like Pure Ibiza Radio, Cafe Mambo Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Bloop Radio London, Boogie Bunker Radio (Tenerife), Estacion Ibiza Radio, Data Transmission Radio, Radio Zoom (Berlin), Graffiti Kings (London) and Like That Underground (Germany), it has developed brilliantly, and helped bring the Lenz sound to all corners of the world. 
 
Atmospheric, raw, and cinematic, Lenz is comfortable taking you on an exciting journey and making you sweat on the dance floor. Never afraid to go too deep, their emotional, dreamy melodies and poetic words will invigorate your mind and soothe your soul.

Having grown up on their individual eclectic combinations of European electronica and synth-infused 80s music … all which became infused with their own love for electronic music, Lenz have ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. 

Today, after working together closely these last two years, this translates into DJ sets and production releases where they pick apart and infuse together all the pieces of this music that they love best: beautiful synth work, lush backdrops, brooding basslines combined with Moon Aton’s haunting ethereal vocals… all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling house beats and chilled ambient tones. Together they create the very essence of their signature sound, an emotional and organic contrast of dark and bright, deep, cinematic, genre bending styles, rich in melody and emotion.
