"Telephone" is about the process of re-falling in love with someone you once had a relationship with, painting this process through words. This song is about the moment this person realizes she is falling in love again with her previous partner, mainly because she feels lonely. She wants to get to know if this person is still available as she would be ready to give the relationship a second chance. All the excitement and thrill of having a relationship fills the air, the bad moments are completely erased, having her mind focused only on the good memories they once had: "feels so wrong yet so nice". However, life is not always made of pink roses, and this is depicted in the song by all the second doubting, and expecting the worst outcome of re-declaring her feelings towards this person, after they broke up. During the song, this person is almost negotiating their way into a relationship, writing out the "whys" to date them again: "Baby I could make all your dreams come true if you say you feel the same way as I do" Despite all the doubts and all the "what ifs", her mind  wonders into the thrill of it : "I'm craving all your love and I'm only one call away"
"Telephone" can also be depicted as falling in love with a friend and wanting to take it a step further, as it holds on to the thrill and desire of new love.

Valentina's musical journey began with classical piano lessons and playing keyboards in metal bands in Siberia. After moving to Moscow, she started exploring electronic music, became fascinated with the drum and bass scene, and began performing as a DJ. She has released music on labels such as System 108, Data Music, DNBB Records, and Emphaseas, and is a resident DJ at :data parties. She continues to collaborate with metal bands as a session keyboardist.
