The forthcoming new single 'Mesmerise' by Temples, taken from the band's eagerly anticipated debut album 'Sun Structures'.  The record is released by Heavenly Recordings on 10th February 2014 and 11th February in the US by Fat Possum.

The 12-track album was self-produced by the band’s James Bagshaw and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer. The album will be available on CD, download and double vinyl.

Following on from ‘The Owner’ released last year, NTEIBINT and Stella join forces once again to bring their elegant sound to Eskimo Recordings with ‘Hide In’. Mexican duo Zombies In Miami, also featuring with an original track on ‘The Yellow Collection’, provide a stellar remix.

NTEIBINT is the musical alter ego of Greek producer George Bakalakos. The gifted producer is known for lush, sonic soundscapes that are masterfully constructed taking the listener to new dimensions. George Bakalakos is also the host of a daily radio show on the Athenian radio station En Lefko 87.7.

Stella (née Stella Chronopoulou) is a pop singersongwriter and musician also based in Greece. Her debut album was released in February 2015 on Inner Ear. Acclaimed by listeners and critics alike, it became one of the most successful Greek indie albums of 2015.

TSM aka This Soft Machine returns to Eskimo Recordings with ‘Absence Of Rhythm’, backed by a remix from the legendary London-based DJ and producer Rory Phillips and a TSM dub version. ‘Absence Of Rhythm’ is a piece of otherworldly disco with a futurist sheen and was created entirely by Tim Sullivan and his band using analogue equipment. Swedish singer Erik Lindestad aka The Land Below is on the vocals.

He explains: “I lived in London between the ages 18-21. This time changed my taste in music forever. I would do my best to be at Trash Club every Monday night. Here I was introduced to the idea of dance music and rock music being completely compatible. Hearing the Pixies & Talking Heads played along side Dance Music. I remember dancing in the side room to ESG, A Certain Ratio, Delta 5 and The Rapture. Rory Phillips was the guy responsible for the music selection and also my extremely sore legs the next day from dancing all night. I’m super excited to have Rory giving his touch to my own music.”

Previous TSM releases on Eskimo were met with high acclaim. Support from Ewan Pearson, In Flagranti, Jacques Renault, airplay on BBC Radio 1, triple j, 1Live, KCRW, RBMA Radio and more. Videos premiering on FACT and Purple, raving reviews on Dj Mag, juno, Beatport, STW, lagasta. Last spotted on Eskimo back in the distant days of 2019, London based duo Horixon return with The Beekeeper, a collaboration with Belgian singer and one half of Hydrogen Sea, Birsen. An understated leftfield pop gem, The Beekeeper's skeletal, dub inflected, rhythms, melancholic piano melody and subtly tropical percussion provide the perfect, balmy, backing for Birsen's gentle, lilting vocals. The perfect soundtrack to lying in a hammock and watching the world around you drift by. 

Providing a counterpoint to the more organic, and warm, sounding original Norwegian duo Atella's remix keeps The Beekeeper's slow tempo and dub vibe but brings both their banks of synthesisers and a Nordic touch to the party. Whilst the original whispered of a still, warm summer's day the track's glacial tempo is now matched by icey cool synth arpeggios that glisten and sparkle like frost catching the morning light, whilst Birsen's voice takes on an even more fragile and beautiful timbre.

In the past few years, https://soundcloud.com/hermigervill has established himself as one of the main players in the Icelandic electronic music scene. Although his name might be hard to pronounce, his live show is very easy to understand. It is all about fun and human emotion, translated through machines and cables, and feels truly live, as opposed to the majority of today's solo electronic acts. Working behind the scenes and on stage with many remarkable Icelandic artists such as Berndsen and Retro Stefson, his musical vision stretches further than many people realize. 

He remixed the Horixon song ‘Hold It Like I Own It’, featuring Maya on vocals. The Hermigervill album ‘‎I’ included tracks like ‘Brewed in Belgium’ and ‘Brute in Belgium’, featured a track with John Grant on vocals (winner ‘Rough Trade Album of the Year’) and got played a lot in the Eskimo HQ. ‘Solitaire’ is a perfect introduction to his music.

Having featured on Eskimo Recordings' last two compilations Russian producer Antenna now steps up for his first full release for the label with the 5 track 'From Kazan With Love' EP. 

Hailing from the Tatarstan Republic where temperatures frequently drop below -15°C, Antenna shares more than just an appreciation of good thermal underwear with his Nordic contemporaries and his music, all glacial cosmic vibes, warm arpeggios and melodies that wear their heart on their sleeve, stands up alongside the best Nordic disco around.

Opening with his two contributions to Eskimo's colour series of compilations, the gentle and optimistic caress 'Sparks' and the breezy slo-mo Balearic gem 'Love 66', Antenna really reaches for the skies with the EP's third track 'Astra', the kind of euphoric Trance-Disco that's sure to cause more than a few outbreaks of emotion on the dance floor.

If 'Astra' sounds like a one-way ticket to the cosmos then it's just as well Antenna follows that back with 'Take Me Home'. Dialling down the BPMs and up the groove, Antenna finds the unlikely sweet spot somewhere between P-Funk and Prog Rock to produce some out of this world, languid space-funk.

Closing the EP, 'Waiting' reveals another side to this enigmatic producer, ditching the disco beats for something more experimental whilst incorporating stately strings and elegiac piano into the proceedings to create an unexpected, if wholly welcome, coda to the release.

Hungry Music returns with a fantastic release from Worakls. It features the epic “Nocturne” composition that showcases Worakls’ incredible fines of building musical tension with cutting edge drum sequences, and beautiful classical textures.

Over the course of more than nine minutes Worakls layers up diving bass frequencies, reverb drenched chords and intense strings. Once all of the above get joined by the thundering groove the whole track really takes off and carries the listener with it!
