LabRat is the result of a scientific accident that happened to Dr. Patrick Jensen in a secret danish lab.

During the confidential experiments he was conducting on rodents, Patrick accidently inhaled the serum he was developing.
As he result, a new psyche emerged in his mind; whispering ideas about crazy music he should produce.
LabRat was born.

His sound can be described as funky & playful yet hard hitting enough to make you question your sanity.

Looney Moon presents GROOVE BROTHERS and their new live act. The Groove Brothers are a funkadelic-groove band founded by Raffael, Oli & Pat (aka Jumpstreet and Rugrats) in 2018.
During long jam sessions patching cables and turning synth knobs their styles merged into a new one and they agreed to develop this project further.
At the beginning of 2019, lost somewhere in India, they finally released their first EP as Jumpstreet and Rugrats called "Vs. Aliens" with Looney Moon Records.
Their style is fresh and raw. Everchanging groovy bassline patterns with razor-sharp leads on top make sure no dancefloor can stand still when they perform.

The Duke & Gonzo project is a joint effort by the German producers Jonas Kalkreuth and Jan Velten. After knowing each other for quite some time, their mutual passion for music and funky psychedelic soundscapes inspired them to experiment with DAWs and create own arrangements. 

After a few years of trial and error, the project was born. With the mission to deliver their interpretation of psytrance to listeners around the globe and in the process of doing so, blow their minds.

Ju aka Shred'er discovered electronic music in 2002, which quickly became his passion, and he started composing various styles on hardware devices. quickly settling his style to psychedelic trance. From composition to DJ acts, his productions quickly grew stronger: Shred'er's touch is somewhere in between groovy and frenetic psytrance, always reaching new realms of sound while keeping his own trade mark. In 2014, he joined the Transubtil crew and blast his first big dance floors. From then on, Shred'er has multiplied his collaborations with acknowledged psychedelic artists. In 2017 he created with his friend Earthworm the French label Transubtil Records. In 2019 he joined the Looney Moon team.

Looney Moon presents JIMI GREEN with a live set showcasing his upcoming debut album. Jimi Green is the Psytrance project of Jonas Kalkreuth from Germany. Throughout his life music has been a loyal companion either by playing multiple instruments, being surrounded by musicians, or listening as much as possible, always being eager to find new inspiring musical ideas. Once he discovered psychedelic trance, he knew the possibilities of musical expression would be endless. After years of experimentation, trial and error he found his own unique interpretation of psychedelic music. Over the years he released tremendous amounts of tunes with his two-man project Duke & Gonzo. After years of composing music together, he felt it was time to explore the realm of psychedelic music on his own and see what will happen once he got down the rabbit hole. Here's a new podcast from the french producer Microsphere who recently joined the label. Get ready to dive into a cosmic hour of crispy sounds and twisted ambiance ! :D

Microsphere is the solo project of Thibault Proust, a French producer born in Paris.

Thibault is involved in the music since his teenage. After years of learning and practicing guitar on different bands, He discovered Trance music by coming at the Hadra Festival 2010 and fell in love with the culture. He then started to make his own productions, first with a Progressive project called Solar Waves and since 2014 with his Psytrance project Microsphere.

With this project, Thibault is always searching and experimenting the most psychedelics and sometimes dark sides of his personality while keeping a groovy style.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in year 2000, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. We asked him for a mix and he didn't disappoint. Enjoy the ride!
