Kick + Sounds is a series of sound-collages containing each a kick-drum and various sounds all cached with a field recorder, sometimes manipulated by some effects, sometimes kept in their original appearance.
The purpose of this project was to give the listener a possibility to let himself or herself fall into sound. The path of sound is always guided by 4/4 kick-drum appearing as a non-stop repetition, which is usually well-known in the techno-scene. Due to these repetitions always have something in common that may hypnotize yourself, the sounds are made to dive into the soundscapes, regarding them from another point of view, enjoying them, feeling comfortable, feeling uncomfortable, hating them, wondering about their possible origin, seeing pictures in them, feel annoyed, feeling me, feeling you, listening to sound itself, forget the context. But always guided by this kick-drum.
Moreover, Kick + Sounds is made to question the perception of sound. The kick-drum you hear is objectively always the same. However the kick-drum, or how you might perceive it, subjectively changes trough its context emerging by the various sounds appearing and disappearing. Sometimes it might feel soft, sometimes hard, sometimes neutral, sometimes indescribable. The question is: Can we even perceive the sound itself? Which importance has the context?   
However, all this righting is a bit senseless due to sound is not describable, in my eyes. So better close you eyes, and start the sound. I hope you can dive into it.
