Konduku makes his first appearance on DJ Nobu's label Bitta, presenting four highly energetic, deep hypnotic cuts. It's the perfect collision between their characteristic practices. Konduku's two immersive techno works, in the form of 'Hayal' and the atmospheric 'Yakamoz', compliment Nobu's powerful and uplifting mountain-valley sound. Balancing out the EP are two proper mind-benders: 'Damla' perfectly represents Konduku's take on twirling half-tempo rhythms and 'Zifir' is a freaky heavy-hitter in the low sub territories.

Following their 5th anniversary, the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton is kicking off its label with a first VA release ‘Approaching The Illusion’ featuring 7 tracks from Ambient to Hypnotic and Deep Techno.  

The goal is to promote diverse international artists involved with our community and curate a sound reflecting different sides of our scene.  

Opening the VA with a dark and ritualistic Ambient track composed by the Sardinian artist @tvsflute, the journey follows a shamanic path by touching some euclidean rhythmics with the downtempo beat from our Art Bei Ton resident @mownofficial.  

Approaching a hypnotic dimension with @amlia’s unique atmospheric production, the VA follows up with a psychedelic tune from the Leipzig-based artist @vanta_techno.  

The collaboration between @fephmusic and @mr_tron offers another aspect of the hypnotic sound, with some more driving and uplifting vibes.  

Wrapping up this first release, the Berlin-based artist @andreacossumusic brings us to an unusually long and trippy journey through some mental whispering voices. The Indian producer @synistermusic takes the listener into a dark and dystopian momentum through a powerful Deep Techno groove.

Juno Review: Knotweed welcomes back a label regular in A Thousand Details here and he once again delves deep into groovy machine funk. His high-impact sound is always intense but is never short on style. 'Hammersmith Conjunction' is up first and races out of the blocks on some surging, serene and Detroit-style techno. 'Ashbourne Grove' is a more heads-down affair for the dark of the night with paranoid synth patterns looping tightly over the cantering drums. 'Colorious' ups the ante with bristling percussive loops and 'Pimlico Astor' shuts down with some edginess that will keep you on your toes.
