Leo Pkhakadze a.k.a. Leofunk is originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, he currently resides and produces in Melbourne, Australia. 
His first steps in music production were taken with the purchase of a vintage Soviet analog synth in the mid 90’s. Greatly influenced by the sound of Warp, Planet Mu, Ninja Tune, Droppin’ Science and the likes he starts experimenting with beats’n’pieces, combining the funkiness of the “Great Soul Era” of the 70’s with broken rhythms of the evolving urban-tech sounds.
In 1998 he gets swept away by Ibiza’s unsurpassed atmosphere for the first time. The White Isle experience leads him to start working on more dancefloor oriented, techno influenced sound.
Visiting Chicago and NY underground clubs enforced his love for funky tech grooves.
Finally, during his 8 months trip throughout Himalayas and India's mainland his innervision became heavily influenced by  transcendent vibrations of the sacred places visited. The significant impact of Goa’s Psy atmosphere eventually went on to form Leo's current signature sound, demonstrating his contribution to the world of music.
