Collaborating with local musicians and recording with analog equipment, CHO AND RANDOM IMPETUS utilizes jazz, funk, soul and disco melodies to create rich 1970's-esq sounds.

Bill Brewster - "Hotel Motel, which is myself and Alex Tepper, did this remix over five years ago, sometime in the second half of 2016. Think it may have been the last thing Alex and I did together. He’s subsequently gone on to work for Calvin Harris and Jax Jones. Talented boy.   I’m a fan of Jeb Loy’s work and thought it would be interesting to try and match his country-soul stylings with something very electronic. We stripped everything back save his vocals and guitar, stretched it out and kept it deep. We were really happy with the result, but I’m not sure anyone at the label liked it very much. It was promoed a few years later but never released. One person who did like it, was Andrew Weatherall; I gave it to him and his partner in crime at ALFOS, Sean, and I know they both played it. Then it died a death. This is your chance to breathe new life into it :)"

Jakarta's Kimo steps up for a new EP of brilliant chuggy nu-disco and trippy house destined for DJ boxes worldwide.

Home starts things off as they mean to go on with an eastern synth riff that builds over a big sub. Keys are introduced with the chord change before the drop and the slo-mo wild pitch acid breaks cover.

Oceana puts a donk in it, keeping things deep and stripped back but not for long. The music gets intense as a distorted riff builds with strings and snares bringing the heat.

Night Light drops the BPMs into psychedelic krautrock territory as the synths distort and hypnotise with a subtly changing chord for that soulful Balearic edge.

Finally, Odyssey is on a more dreamy disco tip that builds up Kimo's trademark intensity as distorted synths riff with the bass. Perfection for watching the sunrise or set.

Citizens Of Vice are super excited to have DJ, Producer, Journalist and 'Hot Gorrila' label owner Andy Buchan back on the label with his third release for them 'Piano Hands'. 

This EP sees 3 original cuts spanning the House & Disco frontiers. 'Piano Hands' opens the EP and is delightful House number. Glenn Davies gets in on the remix action with a glorious interpretation, those drums! Ghosts Of Yanquin and Take Me Dancing are both joyous modern Nu Disco affairs that will have dance floors grooving with intent.
