Tried my hand at producing some more space-themed soundtrack - perhaps for a dramatic scene in a sci-fi game. Definitely more of an emotional and epic feel to this one.

Flowering Void

I had a Reggae-type beat in my head that I had to bring to life, and it evolved into a wondrous soundscape of shimmeryness. 
For me it still has elements of Sci-fi soundtrack to it, so evokes an image of perhaps a beautiful coastline stretching for miles and miles on a lonely synthetic world.

Chromium Coastline

This track for me conjures an image of seeing into an otherworldly realm, or a moment of insight that pierces through a dark veil that had clouded one's perception. Perhaps in the setting of a fantasy world, this captures the ignition of some magic spark in a character - a sudden crystallization of understanding of the arcane laws of reality. 

This track was mostly spent experimenting with effects and mixing/mastering rather than any fancy harmonic development, but hopefully it turned out sounding quite nice overall. Happy to receive constructive criticism as always.

Dabbled in creating an infectious dance track, specifically to retaliate against all those pesky shufflers - hit 'em with the Countershuffle! :D
Had lots of fun producing and then subsequently grooving to this.

Countershuffle

So many great writers entering this competition! Here is my first version. Stems used: Percussion, Solo Trumpet, Solo Vocal. Started off by trying out the rhythm of the percussion motif over a different time signature and developed in to what I would imagine an exploration or an adventure around the globe to sound like. I think the vocal track lends itself well to a powerful piece of music (like the original).

Felix - Boss Theme?

Experimented with making pumping, ominous but heavy dance track. It ends up conjuring images from Sci-fi action sequence perhaps. I am still practicing with my sound design and mixing, hopefully it sounds sensible!

This began as a very chill bouncy rhythm I kept beatboxing to myself. I felt compelled to bring it to life, and it evolved into an ambient groove that brought images of perhaps a nomadic Middle-Eastern people spending the night under a desert sky.
