Built a Buffalo FX TD-X Clone following the following perf layout:

It did not sound right, so I tried several different IC chips. From these tests I think I have a bad batch of the LM301AN chip, which is what is called for. Tried a LM308, UA741 and a NE5534. All of them sounded very good, and very very similar.
