Leon Faun è il nome d’arte di Leon de la Vallée, rapper e attore classe 2001. Nato a Roma, vive a Fiumicino dove in tenera età si appassiona alla musica, spinto da una famiglia immersa nell’arte. Già a 12 anni, infatti, si avvicina all’universo rap, cogliendone le enormi potenzialità espressive. Dotato di talento vivido e fuori dal comune, Leon Faun cresce musicalmente grazie al supporto costante del producer Duffy che lo aiuta a muovere i primi passi. Nel 2015 pubblica alcuni brani su YouTube sotto il nome LYO mentre risalgono al 2017 il primo EP “Endless” ed il singolo “Terabithia”.

Il 2018 è un anno importante per il rapper romano, che decide di cambiare nome d’arte. Il primo singolo targato Leon Faun vede la luce a ottobre ed è prodotto da Duffy. “Animus” è il titolo scelto per un brano che pone solide basi stilistiche e concettuali per i lavori successivi. Il Fantasy Rap di Leon Faun si mostra in tutta la sua essenza. Si tratta di un genere ibrido molto originale, ispirato ad immagini oniriche raccontate con grande tecnica e padronanza del flow.

Il percorso intrapreso con “Animus” prosegue nei singoli successivi, tutti appartenenti al ciclo delle “Cronache di Mairon”. Il primo ad uscire è “Horia”, a novembre 2018. Mentre l’anno successivo vengono lanciati “Cioccorane”, “Primavera”, “Taboo” e “Oh Cacchio”. Corredati da video coinvolgenti girati da thaevil, i brani ripropongono il mood fantasy con ancora maggiore consapevolezza. Leon Faun è ormai considerato da tutti il Fauno del rap italiano. Grande è il successo di pubblico riscosso dalle “Cronache di Mairon” ed in particolare dall’ultimo singolo lanciato che raggiunge in poco tempo la vetta del milione di views su YouTube e di stream su Spotify.

Nel corso del 2019, Leon Faun alterna alla carriera musicale quella cinematografica, recitando come protagonista nel film “La terra dei figli” di Claudio Cupellini, ispirato all’omonimo graphic novel di GIPI. E a marzo 2020 lancia il nuovo singolo, intitolato “Gaia”. Prodotto da Duffy e sempre corredato dallo straordinario videoclip di thaevil, il brano è un inno d’amore per la terra.
