Paryìa label head Marie Montexier comes up with the third instalment on her imprint.

After kicking off the label with records by a.b.u.3.0.3. and Small Crab, Marie is having the Vancouver based acidic specialist Overland, who delivers three cutting-edge dance floor tracks that showcase her rich and versatile fusion of classic acid techno patterns and distinctive bass music rhythms.

Rounding off the record, Marie Montexier adds a remix from the Chicago based up-and-comers Purelink. In contrast to Overland’s dark, fast, and bassy sound, Purelink re-arranged a trippy downtempo version of ‘Paloma’, resolving in the delicate, yet deliberate, chillout ecstasy, they are best known for.

Spring is here and Dj Purpur has contributed a great mix for our podcast series. 
The DJ and producer, who lives in Weimar, Halle and Leipzig, is part of the OG2G collective. DJ Purpur regularly releases tracks on various labels, such as Crazed Behaviour, or on his own Soundcloud profile. 
As you can already hear in the mix, DJ Purpur doesn't like to commit himself to individual genres; his motto is: it has to be fun!

Leon Haller is a DJ, Producer and Performing artist currently based in Brandenburg but mainly active in Munich, Germany. Over the years he has been part of several collectives and party series. Since 2017 he was a Resident DJ at the recently closed Harry Klein Club, a Munich Techno institution, where he also created the PERRAS parties together with Louis EMP, MRTI and Manuel Loewe. Both as a DJ and party host he draws on a wide range of genres and moods, always with a focus on disinhibition and escapism. With his background in theater and a degree in dramatic arts he does have a keen ear for different textures in dance music and a sharp eye for the energy on the dance floor. In addition to his residency at Harry Klein, he also played in venues such as Rote Sonne (Munich), Disco Zwei (Mannheim) and Zur Klappe (Berlin). For this mix he went back to his roots which lie in deep, pulsing, sometimes wistful and haunting Techno, with subtle House-ish accents appearing sometimes. He included some tracks he has been listening to and playing for quite some time, paired with fresh releases, sparkling percussions and hypnotic dance floor bombs. Copenhagen-based artist peachlyfe announces Permission to Roam—the full-length concept album and sci-fi story forthcoming March 2024 on Nene H’s UMAY. The release features eight original tracks inspired by the artist’s self-authored story—a playful excavation of the transience and fluidity of gender, which compliments the release as a printed book, illustrated by Istanbul-based artist Cocln. 

On the release date, the artist will take over the renowned nightclub Den Anden Side in their hometown of Copenhagen.
