Philip. K. Dick

Leon Hatcher is an Isle of Wight born, Margate based artist, DJ and autodidact who works with film, installation, sculpture, photography and sound.

He deals with themes of memory, history, romance and absence. Concerned with the power of sound and image to evoke a sense of faux nostalgia, an almost mystic belief that the past is summoned by the mere presence of a conceptually loaded object.

Leon is founder of Plinth and musical curator of The Butcher's Apron Radio Show, he can mostly be found floating on a lilo, sipping piña colada in the wandering wondering waters of his mind.
