We are quite pleased to be bringing you this new record of mind-bending, pseudo liturgical and lysergic electro acoustic compositions from Paris based, Belarusian composer Lina Filipovich.

This is an album of broken and obscured grandeur, partially incorporating heavily distressed classical music samples, in particular from Sergei Rachmaninov’s piece, “All-Night Vigil”.

With it’s dark echoes of early Doctor Who episodes, and it’s bent and twisted, industrially tinged and distorted choral decay, it seems at times an ominous soundtrack to an end of the world sci-fi film.

Once again Usagi Is Dead are creating a melancholic, monotone and dark tune blending a fat Korg Polysix bassline with heavily chorused guitars and an amazing cello.
