This mix was recorded in a single, uninterrupted take, raw and unpolished allowing the moment to unfold as it was felt.
Rather than a club-facing narrative, this 3 hours and 33 minute journey offers a more intimate insight into the music that has quietly shaped me over the past five years since the inception of Mahico. Many of these selections are rarely if ever played out. They live in a more internal space.
As with my DJ sets, the mix unfolds as a collage — moving through jazz-inflected moments, Latin and Brazilian rhythms, African influences, down tempo  and house music — with unexpected turns, pauses, and emotional shifts. It’s designed to surprise not only the listener, but myself. Letting intuition lead, rather than expectation.
This mix is less about genre and more about sentiment. Each track holds meaning,  music that has stayed with me, moved me, and shaped how I understand rhythm, culture, and connection. It’s an invitation into my inner world, and a reflection of how I experience music: as a vessel for emotion, memory, and shared humanity.
Created especially for Flow Music’s long-format series, this mix embraces the freedom of time — allowing ideas to breathe, evolve, and reveal themselves slowly. Best experienced from start to finish, without interruption.

Having got us all hot under the feathered boa with the seductive Galaxie, Andrew Armstrong's Daddy Squad returns to Eskimo Recordings with two new tracks, Longer The Day and Double Love Attack, disco house heaters whose live instrumentation, analogue synths and joyous massed vocals are both guaranteed to keep dancefloor fires burning throughout the winter months.

This time around Armstrong finds himself in the company of Berlin based US singer Snax, and in Double Love Attack they've crafted a celebration of the simple, yet increasingly under fire, joy of sexual expression and hooking up with hot people in even hotter clubs. Twenty years on since his last appearance on Eskimo, Snax's vocals and piano have lost none of their power and in Armstrong's euphoric heavy disco house have found the perfect foil, leading us deep, deep down in to a sensual meltdown.

If Double Love Attack's focus is on all the fun stuff that happens inside our clubs, Longer The Day looks out at the forces who are increasingly targeting these spaces and those for whom they provide a safe haven. With its roots in the underground Black and LGBTQ+ scenes of the 1970s, disco has always had as much a militant streak as a hedonistic one, and Longer The Day is a worthy addition to the rich canon of protest disco, a call to arms that thanks to its bumping rhythms and stirring stabs will keep you dancing as much as it will in the good fight ahead.

On New Year’s Eve this year, it was finally time again! ✨ I had the honor of playing at my beloved club on my favorite Dampfer floor to close out the year in the best possible way.

Playtime: Sunday afternoon, 2 PM – 5 PM.

It was an absolute joy to fire up some of my current favorite tracks and share that special energy with you all. Seeing so many familiar faces on the dancefloor made it even more beautiful 💕💕💕💕

Playing those last hours of the year together felt truly special. Thank you so much for the trust and the love – what a way to end the year 🖤✨

It's Valentine's Day on the dance floor: red light, open hearts, bodies still moving even as the night fades into morning. Spacey disco textures melt into emotional melodies, carrying the room from pure euphoria to that soft, floating afterglow that only occurs when nobody wants the night to end.

Playing this set felt intimate. Seeing so many of you stay until daylight turned to noon was special. The energy never dropped and the connection never broke. Thank you so much Kabinett der Kuriositäten & Tanzhaus West for having me ღ

This isn’t the full closing set, just a fragment of that final stretch. But it captures the essence of it.

this gig and these hours at Kater felt like the best dance floors experience of a long time, it reminded me deeply what music is about. I felt connected and supported by close friends, old colleagues and unknown strangers all over the dance floor and we made it to create a unique vibe for all of us. I am beyond grateful for the night and this gig, it was really special to me!

Working as a discjockey since 2007, Leon Licht has become an all-round DJ and a chameleon of sorts. Being knee deep into Berlin’s pulsating nightlife and his full dedication to the craft have cemented his way to the top. Growing a dedicated following and earning a reputation of delivering energetic vibes. First and foremost stands his ability to adapt his style to a particular mood, place and time. Keeping both ears open for current sounds and trends. But always staying true to his inner rave spirit and matching the energy of his audience. Be it the kind of organic tech-house that sounds like tennis balls being served, fury techno for peak time or a warm blanket of sounds for after-hours.
As a lovechild of Berlin, Leon Licht’s interest for electronic music came through listening to music from 90’s Loveparade compilations and the days of MTV. His early interest and the abundance of nightlife in Berlin made for ideal conditions for his roots in rave to grow. Hanging out from Monday to Sunday in clubs grew the appetite to contribute to the scene himself. Meeting like minded people and absorbing every inch of nightlife along the way.
These days he can be found touring all over Europe, but is always eager to return home to Berlin. Where he regularly plays Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Watergate and his ever evolving residency in Sisyphos. Where he gets hordes of people into the groove and delivers his versatile array of flavours on any floor. With a steady stream of gigs lined up, he shows no signs of taming down his relentless hunger of being part of nightlife.
