BIO :
Gerard Bozyk is Dublin based DJ. With his innovative and forward thinking approach he is never afraid to dig deeper when selecting his music for his DJ sets & podcasts. Gerard has been passionate about electronic music for almost two decades now. Currently he helds a spot on the infamous Proton radio based in USA where he hosts his monthly show Metropolis. His podcasts have been featured numerous times in ten most to listen mixes on the station including couple of no. 1 spots. His greatest achievement to date is winning Decode magazine's Mix of the month competition back in 2016. Gerard has also released two exclusive compilations for Spotify & Apple music for Proton music and its sub label Particles, along with the second one for Sound Avenue & 3rd Avenue which are one of the most respected progressive house labels.
In June of 2019 he joined forces with local heroes ''Melodic'' on support duties for Khen (Lost & Found, Ajunadeep, Bedrock) which was one of most memorable nights to date.
As a part of ''Fusion Underground'' DJ collective he currently working on launch of new club nights in Dublin.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible experience at Sisyphos last weekend. Playing from 6am-9am in the morning was a challenge, especially with such a top lineup. Following DJs like @avocadoofficial and @fabmassimo, the bar was set high, but the energy in the room made it one of my best sets to date. The vibe was absolutely electric!

Just over a week ago, I celebrated my 20th DJ anniversary with a set in the Hammahalle at Sisyphos. Sisy has been, and still is, such an important part of my journey—not just as a DJ, but also personally as a place to party. That’s why it felt like such an honor to mark this milestone there. The crowd, the atmosphere, the energy—everything just clicked from start to finish. Especially considering that the Hammahalle isn’t always the floor with the most audience feedback. But this time, it was different—warm, heartfelt, and simply beautiful.

To everyone who joined me that night: you made it unforgettable. And to those who missed it—your loss, but you’re still welcome to listen to the recording. ;)

P.S. I even managed to surprise myself musically with this set. Everything just fell into place, even on the technical side. It felt like a true flow, and it’s clear to me that as a DJ, I’m always learning and evolving, taking baby steps further along the journey. Working as a discjockey since 2007, Leon Licht has become an all-round DJ and a chameleon of sorts. Being knee deep into Berlin’s pulsating nightlife and his full dedication to the craft have cemented his way to the top. Growing a dedicated following and earning a reputation of delivering energetic vibes. First and foremost stands his ability to adapt his style to a particular mood, place and time. Keeping both ears open for current sounds and trends. But always staying true to his inner rave spirit and matching the energy of his audience. Be it the kind of organic tech-house that sounds like tennis balls being served, fury techno for peak time or a warm blanket of sounds for after-hours.
As a lovechild of Berlin, Leon Licht’s interest for electronic music came through listening to music from 90’s Loveparade compilations and the days of MTV. His early interest and the abundance of nightlife in Berlin made for ideal conditions for his roots in rave to grow. Hanging out from Monday to Sunday in clubs grew the appetite to contribute to the scene himself. Meeting like minded people and absorbing every inch of nightlife along the way.
These days he can be found touring all over Europe, but is always eager to return home to Berlin. Where he regularly plays Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Watergate and his ever evolving residency in Sisyphos. Where he gets hordes of people into the groove and delivers his versatile array of flavours on any floor. With a steady stream of gigs lined up, he shows no signs of taming down his relentless hunger of being part of nightlife.
