Here comes the thirteenth edition of the Telekollegen Podcast, this time for you, Zodiak Nice.

By the end of the 90s both Berliners had begun their careers, initially under different names. It was only a matter of time until they met behind the decks and exchanged numbers.

Connected by their passion for music, a personal and creative relationship developed. They joined forces and the collaborative project "Zodiak Nice" was born.

Their sound is individual, infused with a variety of influences which defines their music. Even though Bassline driven House and Indie-Dance is the basis of their sets, they have established their very own style without following any trends or being confined to a genre stereotypes.

When you listen to their DJ-sets it becomes clear Zodiak Nice have a unique sense for fantastic and qualitative sounds.

Their main goal is to show the audience a new kind of electronic club music. In 2013, it is about time to reach a new level and focus on new visions.

They began producing their own music and are currently working on their first debut release, sure to become an integral part of the Berlin house scene.

This is the full recording of my set at the mighty Alchemy Circle stage at BOOM Festival 2025 — the most beautiful and craziest playground on earth.

Personally, it was one of the highlights and milestones of my life. Not just because it was one of the most inspiring gigs I've ever played, but also because I felt truly honored to share this magical stage with some of the greatest legends of Psytechno, Peaktime and Psytrance. Experiencing the festival and being part of this very special cosmos was truly unforgettable.
The set took place on Saturday morning into the midday hours, building up gradually and capturing the unique energy of the festival as it awakened.

Working as a discjockey since 2007, Leon Licht has become an all-round DJ and a chameleon of sorts. Being knee deep into Berlin’s pulsating nightlife and his full dedication to the craft have cemented his way to the top. Growing a dedicated following and earning a reputation of delivering energetic vibes. First and foremost stands his ability to adapt his style to a particular mood, place and time. Keeping both ears open for current sounds and trends. But always staying true to his inner rave spirit and matching the energy of his audience. Be it the kind of organic tech-house that sounds like tennis balls being served, fury techno for peak time or a warm blanket of sounds for after-hours.
As a lovechild of Berlin, Leon Licht’s interest for electronic music came through listening to music from 90’s Loveparade compilations and the days of MTV. His early interest and the abundance of nightlife in Berlin made for ideal conditions for his roots in rave to grow. Hanging out from Monday to Sunday in clubs grew the appetite to contribute to the scene himself. Meeting like minded people and absorbing every inch of nightlife along the way.
These days he can be found touring all over Europe, but is always eager to return home to Berlin. Where he regularly plays Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Watergate and his ever evolving residency in Sisyphos. Where he gets hordes of people into the groove and delivers his versatile array of flavours on any floor. With a steady stream of gigs lined up, he shows no signs of taming down his relentless hunger of being part of nightlife.
