I wrote this song in 2000, and recorded this version in 2015, as a part of my Chicago musical colleague Cecy Santana’s debut project.  The musical styles in this song contains both Brazilian and African American influences, and features myself as the lead on trumpet, with a full rhythm section and 9 piece horn section in which I personally constructed for this piece in particular.  Dedicated to my home city of Chicago, ENJOY THE SKYLINE.

This Afro-Cuban Deep House Fusion rendition of one of my original compositions honors “EL CAMPEÓN” (Spanish for The Champion).  EL CAMPEÓN is represented by The Great Redeemer, and The Son of YHWH, Yahoshuah Meshiach, who gave his life to pay a price we couldn’t pay for a debt he never owed.  ENJOY and BE BLESSED ALWAYS.
