After over four years since their first appearance on our channel, the marvelous SIT duo returns with a 90 minutes sound immersion recorded at Grădina Monteoru a few weeks ago to give us a glimpse of what to expect during Week 2 of the incoming Caprices Festival.

Constantly evolving throughout the years, their work in pairs and as solo acts has now reached the ears and feet of thousands of dancers all around the world, making SIT one of the most acclaimed acts around. Characterized by a minimal-oriented background, Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia have continued nonstop to explore the sound boundaries, now smoothly surfing on more fast and skipping grooves as well as mighty housier themes.

Make sure to not miss them at the infamous Caprices Festival located in the beautiful Swiss alps, in a frame that will make their set even more memorable.

After a sabbatical at the beginning of the year, today we begin our season on Podcasts. Our guest comes from Romania. An excellent curator at his record label and also with historic performances at festivals such as Sunwaves Festival.

One of the most respected DJs in his country, he has been spreading the Romanian music scene around the world for a long time. With stints at record labels such as his own, Atipic Records, Arpiar, RORA and many others.

He masterfully gave us two presentations at this year's Brazilian carnival.

This mix was recorded live at D-EDGE in Sao Paulo.

Archie Hamilton has had a remarkable rise up through the ranks of the underground house and techno scene to being one of the most respected artists in his genre.

Working across many of the facets of electronic music, Archie’s penchant for rugged basslines and ethereal atmospherics form his signature sound. A dynamic selector, an accomplished producer and an influential label owner who has spent 10 years managing A&R for his two imprints Moscow Records and Moss Co. on top of Arkityp imprint alongside fellow selector and contemporary Rossko.
Archie launched his first label Moscow Records a decade ago in 2009 as an output for his early productions. Whilst mastering his craft and cutting his teeth in the studio over ten years culminated in Archie reaching the milestone of releasing his debut album ‘Archive Fiction’ this summer.

The 10-track collection merges his musical upbringing with his current tastes, incorporating elements of trip-hop and drum’n’bass alongside deep house, neo jazz, minimal styles and post-90s tech house. There are moments of contemplation, all out dance floor attacks and some very special collaborations, including ‘Eye of The Storm’ with drum’n’bass royalty, Onallee and New York house legend Mr. V, who provides the vocals for ‘Make The Difference’. Archie’s productions have garnered him consistent spins this summer on BBC Radio 1 with his standout club hit ‘Waisted’ being a go-to for Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard.

The album has not only further cemented Archie’s standing as one of the most exciting UK breakthrough artists but this year has marked the start of his new artistic evolution. Off the back of the album success, Archie’s also launched his three-part ‘Archive Fiction’ tour this Autumn which will run worldwide until March 2020

In 60 minutes Cuartero develops a musical discourse full of life, free structure, organic sounds, moving vocals and a seductive rhythm, generating a contemporary and melodic house session. 

Cuartero is one of Spain's finest artists, he leads the new wave of Spanish producers who have shined the most internationally. Besides traveling the world, taking his music to five continents, Cuartero has released original tracks and remixes on labels such as Hot Creations, Moon Harbor, Hottrax, Play It Say It, Desolat, Saved, among many others. In recent months Cuartero has published Lamine EP (Cuartero Concept) and What Luv (Hot Creations), as well as Encuentro EP on his own Sanity label. 

He has recently participated on You Decide The Remixes, with a version of Yaya's original track One Way . The EP also includes remixes by Loco Dice, S.A.M and Enzo Siragusa. You Decide The Remixes will be released soon on Tamango Records. In addition, Cuartero is about to release Rame EP on the vinyl-only label Constant Black, a three-track EP that shows a finely honed minimal house sound that fits into the label's shadowy club aesthetic perfectly.
