Leopard Bonapart is a russian band that rocks with the melodies of indie Brit-pop mixed with rockabilly and glam. Led by singer and guitarist Kostya Bulgevsky (who was included in the 'Rolling Stone' magazine's list of musicians, who can be presented for the worldwide stage), the young fourmember band has a perky sound reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys, and a look that’s classic hipster: shaggy hair, oversize glasses, tight pants, and all.. After winning a music competition on MTV, Leopard Bonapart made an appearance at the RMA Awards and have since gained a large following among 20-something Russian popsters. They’ve performed with Zemfira, Tokio, and Missy Elliot, and their music has been featured on some Russian TV series. According to their Last.fm page, the band  “risks becoming one of the main events of the coming year.”
